Golden light washes over the farmer working late to get his crop in. The smell of fresh turned dirt is something only a farmer recognizes. It means long hours out in the field to get that crop seeded and then pray for rain! Farmers are such gamblers...we invest thousands and thousands of dollars every year and then bet against or with mother nature to make us some money! If it doesn't work this year, we will try again next year! What a life...most wouldn't trade it for the world.
